About KitabHub
The Literary Home of the Arab World
We believe every reader deserves a beautiful, thoughtful way to track their reading journey. KitabHub was built for the MENA reading community — celebrating Arabic and English literature alike.
Our Mission
We believe every story deserves a community. KitabHub exists to make literature more accessible, discoverable, and socially meaningful — especially for the hundreds of millions of Arabic speakers whose literary tradition is one of the richest in human history. We are building the infrastructure that connects every part of the literary ecosystem: the reader, the writer, and everyone in between.
Why KitabHub?
We didn't build KitabHub to be another book database. We built it to be the reading home the Arab world deserves.
Built for MENA, Open to the World
KitabHub was designed from day one for the Arab reading community — full RTL support, Arabic-first search, integration with regional bookstores like Jarir and Neel Wa Furat, and a catalogue that celebrates Arabic literature at the same level as any global title.
AI That Understands Arabic Literary Taste
Our AI recommendations don't just translate Western bestseller lists. They're trained on MENA reading patterns, Arabic fiction, poetry, and non-fiction — so when we suggest a book, it actually resonates.
A Genuine Community
Reading clubs, author AMAs, community book awards, and seasonal campaigns. KitabHub is not just a database — it's a place where readers, authors, publishers, and translators come together.

Our Story
KitabHub was founded with a simple observation: the Arab world produces extraordinary literature — poetry, novels, essays, non-fiction — yet there was no digital home built specifically to celebrate and amplify it. Western platforms dominated the space, often with limited Arabic support, no understanding of the cultural context, and no pathway for Arabic-speaking authors to connect with their natural readership.
We set out to change that. The problem wasn't just technical — it was cultural. Tracking Arabic books meant wrestling with apps that didn't support Arabic text properly, had no RTL layouts, and treated MENA literature as a footnote. We built KitabHub from the ground up: bilingual by design, culturally aware by default, and social at its core.
KitabHub supports the full literary ecosystem — not just readers, but also the authors, publishers, editors, and translators who make the stories possible. We believe a platform for Arab readers must serve the whole chain that brings a book from writer to reader.
Today, KitabHub is live and growing. We are a passionate team of readers and engineers from across the Arab world, united by a big belief: that literature has the power to connect people across borders, languages, and generations — and that the Arab world deserves a platform worthy of its literary heritage.
The Team
KitabHub is built by a passionate team of readers and engineers from across the Arab world — from Riyadh to Cairo, Beirut to Dubai. We are united by a love of books and a conviction that the MENA literary community deserves world-class tools.
